Buying or selling a home is serious business—having a good time along the way is highly encouraged.
Jon van Anrooy is a lifelong Spokane resident with deep roots in the community and more than 26 years of real-world experience in real estate—meaning he’s seen just about every market, mistake, and miracle this business can offer.
Over the years, Jon has worn a lot of hats: Realtor, investor, developer, contractor, and property manager. Translation? When clients ask questions, the answer usually isn’t “Let me get back to you,” it’s “Here’s what’s actually going on.” Whether helping buyers spot a home’s hidden potential or guiding sellers on how to get top dollar, Jon brings practical insight, honesty, and a steady hand to every transaction.
Jon is known for clear communication, strong relationships, and being fiercely loyal to his clients. He takes real estate seriously—but not himself. Buying or selling a home is a big deal, but Jon believes the process doesn’t need to be stressful, confusing, or painfully formal. It should be well-guided, straightforward, and yes… even fun. A few laughs along the way are part of the service.
Raised by Dutch immigrants who settled in Spokane in the early 1960s, Jon grew up with a deep appreciation for hard work, integrity, and treating people the right way. Those values still show up daily in how he works, negotiates, and advocates for his clients.
A true North Side Spokanite, Jon earned a degree in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University and has spent his career serving the community he proudly calls home.
When he’s not working, Jon is usually spending time with his wife and two sons or taking advantage of everything Spokane has to offer—skiing in the winter, golfing, cycling, hiking, or sneaking off to the lake whenever possible. He also enjoys a good bottle of wine, preferably after a smooth closing.
Jon proudly serves Spokane and the surrounding communities and is committed to helping clients make smart, confident real estate decisions—without the pressure, confusion, or unnecessary stress. Professional, approachable, and proof that real estate doesn’t have to be miserable.
